Projects # 71, 72, & 73

Hey Stampers!

It's is Friday and that means I have projects to post. :)  Very happy with my progress this week.  I used two stamp sets that are a bit harder for me to work with and one that was super easy.  I am pleased with the results.

Project #71: Note Card
Just in case you cannot find the stamps....it is the pens on the tag. :)

 

Supplies:  Stamps (Pens/Unknown and Sentiment/Unknown), card stock, pattern paper, die (Spellbinders), tag, misting spray, stencil, button, metal flower, floss, ink, embossing powder and Dew Drops.

Project #72: Hello

 

Supplies: Stamps (See-D's/Postal, Just Rite Stampers/Background, Sentiment/Unknown and Stitching/American Crafts), card stock, tag, baker's twine, ink and washi tape.

Project #73-Thank You

This card is for a set of thank you cards we will need for my son's science fair project.  For those of you who have been paper crafting for a long time you may remember a company called Keeping Memories Alive.  They were one of the 1st companies to offer non-themed pattern paper.  I still have some in my stash...I just could not let go of it.  Thankfully, it worked perfectly with this set of cards. :)

Supplies:  Stamps (Papertrey Ink), card stock, pattern paper, ink, die (Papertrey Ink) and circle punch.

Project #65

Hey Stampers!

So this week was a bit of an epic fail. :(  I had such high hopes, but life just seemed to have other plans.  Each week I think....this week will be better.  Sometimes it is and sometimes not so much.  But I can honestly say, next week will be better.  So those five other cards will get done by next Friday.

Supplies: Stamps (Just Rite Stampers/Fancy Labels, dies (Spellbinders/ Labels 18 and Majestic Labels 25), ink, embossing powder, trim, tag, photo corners and pearls.

Projects #58, 59 and 60.

Hey Stamp Lovers!

It's Friday! And that means it is time for more stamping.  I had hoped to get four cards done this week, but only managed to get three done.  If I am lucky, I will find a few extra minutes this weekend to finished the fourth.  All of the cards used the Club Scrap Kit: Wisteria.  As I have talked about before, I find it very helpful to limited by choices.  That does not mean I don't have tons of supplies....I do. :)  But I try to limit my choices to just a few options when I do actually find the time to be creative.

Project #58: Happy Anniversary

Supplies:  Stamps (Club Scrap: Wisteria), Dies (Spellbinders: Lacy Squares and Ribbon Banners), Card Stock, Pattern Paper, Ribbon (Club Scrap), Black Ink, Prima Flowers, Brads,  Drew Drops (Robins Nest) and Purple Ink.

Project #59: Note Card

I will admit this card does not have much stamping on it.  The strip of dark purple in the middle card is stamped with a very cool stamp included in the kit, it looks like faux bricks, but with a vintage look.  Very me.  

Supplies:  Stamps (Club Scrap: Wisteria), Dies (Spellbinders: Labels #14), Card Stock, Pattern Paper, Fibers (Club Scrap), Embossing Powder, Embossing Ink (Tim Holtz: Vintage Paper), Ribbon, Pop Dots, Purple Ink and Flower Charm.

Project #60: Thank You

Projects #55 and 56!

Hey Stamp Lovers,

I did it!  I finally managed to use the small 'thank-you' set I have been trying to use for the past 3 weeks. :)  The 1st card is the one I have had in my head for those three weeks.  It is wonderful to finally have it come to life.  I was starting to run out of room for other things.

Project #55: Thank You
This is a very simple card at heart.  For a girl that LOVES color I am struck by how much I love working with white on white.  It is such a clean and simple look.

Supplies:  Stamps (Inkadinkado), card stock, punch (Martha Stewart), circle cutter, embossing folder, die (Spellbinders), buttons, pearls and ink.

Project #56: Many Thanks
One card was just not enough.  This card I used another kit company.  One I used to subscribe to several years ago.  Just like Club Scrap, I have kept all of the kits together.  As I work with each kit I am breaking them up and storing the items in their appropriate homes. :)  I must say I really am enjoying working with the kits.  I find the limited supplies really improves my creativity. Imagine that!

Supplies:  Stamps (Inkadinkado), card stock, pattern paper & stickers (Simple Stories: 100 Days of Summer), ribbon, button, metal embellishments, pearls, Dew Drops, border punches, paint, label and twine.

While I did get two cards completed, I did not meet my other goals.  So how did you do on yours?  I would love to know what you accomplished this week..

Projects # 43, 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48

Drum roll please!  I manage to create six, yes six, cards this week....I am so proud of myself. :)  So let's get started.

Projects #43 and 44-Happy Birthday
Both of these cards used the Club Scrap kit: Comic

Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap and American Crafts-stitching stamp), paper (Club Scrap) die (Spellbinders), paint, ink, stencil (Crafters Workshop), paper ribbon, embellishments and pop dots.

Supplies: Stamps and paper (Club Scrap), clear embossing ink and powder, black ink, gesso and dew drops.  Each Club Scrap kit comes with ideas and techniques.  I copied this idea directly from them. :)  I love how it turned out.  

Project #48: Thank You

Supplies: Stamps (Papertrey Ink-Boy Basics: Simple Circles and Thanks All Ways), card stock, ink and clear embossing powder.  Sometimes a design does not have to be complicated to make an impact.

I have some recommended classes for you as well.  You can see I used a lot of die-cuts on my cards this week.  I love layering them together.  This means my Sizzix Big Shot got a workout this week.  It is one of my most favorite tools.  As always...I know I could get more out of it.  Sizzix Die-Cutting Basics starts today and I highly recommend it.  Deena is a long time designer and contributor to Sizzix and she really knows how to get the most out of that machine.

This week also made me fix my kit problem.  For too long I have tried to keep the kit materials together.  No more!  After making the cards I broke up the rest of the supplies and put them away.  It felt great!

Projects # 39, 40, 41, 42

Happy Friday!

Time for a brand new blog post.  I must admit, the more I stamp the easier it gets.  Ideas flow more easily.  I guess those gears are finally becoming well oiled. :)

Summer break has officially begun in our home.  That means more video games, movies, swimming, ice cream, reading and all of the other fun summer activities we can indulge in. Maybe we will even be able to squeeze in a little crafting time.

Project #39: Thank-You
I created three of these simple cards to for my son's teacher.  When I give cards to individuals I don't know very well I tend to keep them very simple.

Supplies:  Stamps (Papertrey Ink-Mega Mixed Messages and Mat Stack #2), card stock, dies (Spellbinders and Papertrey Ink), ribbon, ink, embossing powder, pop-dots and Dew Drops.

Project #40: End of School Year

Every year, if my son does well at school, we give him a end of year treat.  Usually books and games....sometimes LEGOS.  Of course I always include a handmade card just for him.

Supplies:  Stamps (Papertrey Ink-Way to go Kiddo), card stock, pattern paper (We R Memory Keepers), ink and buttons. 

Project #41:  Thank-You 
The last two thank-you cards are for my son's martial arts instructors.  One male and one female.  Again, I like to keep it simple, especially with masculine cards.

Supplies:  Stamps (Papertrey Ink:Mat Stack #4 and Mega Mixed Messages), die (Papertrey Ink), circle punches, cards stock, pattern paper (DCWV), ribbon, metal rim tag, ink and ribbon. 

Project #42: Thank You
For my final card I need to use a background stamp.  This stamp was not on my original list of stamps for this week and is actually wood mounted.  I saw in similar card in the latest issue of Stampers Sample.  I love how it turn out.

 Supplies:  Stamps (Stamps Happen and Magnetic Poetry-Word Stamp Kit), Gelatos, Distressed Stain (white), card stock, die (Spellbinders), washi tape, ink, black pen and pearls.

This week I managed to create six cards.  However, you may noticed that my Father's Day cards are missing. I am hoping to find a few minutes this weekend to get those created.  Giving me plenty of time to drop them in the mail.

Projects # 36, 37 and 38

Happy Friday Stampers,

Hard to believe that May is coming to an end.  Our summer semester is only three weeks away and classes are already open for enrollment.  June also means that we are almost at the half way point with our Stamp 2013 project.  I am pleased with my progress and I have enjoyed reading about your progress in the classroom.  But there is much work to be done still. :)

Project #36: Note Card
I am on a Club Scrap kick right now.  It has been fun to work with some of my older stamps.  Makes me remember how much I love them.

Projects #29-32

Hey Stampers!

Well it is 10:55 pm my time.  So let's see if I can get this posted before the clock strikes midnight and it turns from Friday to Saturday.  I had a lot of fun with these stamp sets.  I managed to use all but one set...and I am good with that. :)

Project #29-Happy Birthday

Supplies: Stamps-Papertrey Ink (birthday sentiment), birthday candles (Stampabilities) and unknown (diamond background), cardstock, ink, embossing powder, brads, pattern paper, ribbon, metal rim tag and epoxy sticker.

Project #30-Thank You
This is probably one of my favorite cards of all time.  I love the colors and the feel of  the card.  I have been playing with Gelatos and used them on this card. They are really a cool product and I do recommend them.  As with many of the products and tools we use, practice makes perfect.

Supplies:  Stamps-Just Rite Stampers ( Harlequin Script Background and Fleur De Lis ), Spellbinders dies ( Labels #20), embossing powers, ink, Gelatos, cardstock and ribbon.

Project #31-Thinking of You 

I really like how this card turned out.  I was surprised to learn how much I enjoyed working with only two colors for the card....well three if you count the white. :) This flower set is fabulous to work with, I love how you can layer the stamps for a more dimensional look without adding extra bulk....cuz I add enough all on my own. :)

Supplies: Flower stamps (unknown, but I think it is Martha Stewart) and sentiment (Just Rite Stampers), card stock, pattern paper, Prima flower, ink, dies (sentiment tag-Spellbinders, tag-Cricut), brad and baker's twine.

Project #32-Just a Note
This card turn out just ok to me.  Sometimes things look better in my mind then in reality.  I hope I am not the only one who suffers from that affliction. :)

Supplies:  Stamps (birdcage-7 Gypsies, sentiment-Papertry Ink/Tiny Tags), card stock, chip board, dies (small tag-Papertrey Ink, large tag-Cricut, frame-Sizzix) ribbon, pattern paper, ink, snap, crackle paint, craft paint and embossing folder (Spellbinders).

I have been busy this week.   I got on a roll last night and ended up creating an extra card just for fun.  Imagine that. :)  Hold on this is going to be a long post.

Thank-You Card using Club Scrap

Card #5-One Last Thank-You

I told you I needed a lot of thank-you cards.  This set of cards are for three gentlemen that helped my son with is science fair project this year.  They have a more masculine feel to them.

These are simple, but they look great.
