Projects # 43, 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48

Happy Friday,

Drum roll please!  I manage to create six, yes six, cards this week....I am so proud of myself. :)  So let's get started.

Projects #43 and 44-Happy Birthday
Both of these cards used the Club Scrap kit: Comic

Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap and American Crafts-stitching stamp), paper (Club Scrap) die (Spellbinders), paint, ink, stencil (Crafters Workshop), paper ribbon, embellishments and pop dots.

All of these cards used the Club Scrap kit Raku

Supplies: Stamps and paper (Club Scrap), ribbon, dies (Spellbinders), ink and metal accents.

Supplies: Stamps and paper (Club Scrap), clear embossing ink and powder, black ink, gesso and dew drops.  Each Club Scrap kit comes with ideas and techniques.  I copied this idea directly from them. :)  I love how it turned out.  

Project #48: Thank You

Supplies: Stamps (Papertrey Ink-Boy Basics: Simple Circles and Thanks All Ways), card stock, ink and clear embossing powder.  Sometimes a design does not have to be complicated to make an impact.

I have some recommended classes for you as well.  You can see I used a lot of die-cuts on my cards this week.  I love layering them together.  This means my Sizzix Big Shot got a workout this week.  It is one of my most favorite tools.  As always...I know I could get more out of it.  Sizzix Die-Cutting Basics starts today and I highly recommend it.  Deena is a long time designer and contributor to Sizzix and she really knows how to get the most out of that machine.

This week also made me fix my kit problem.  For too long I have tried to keep the kit materials together.  No more!  After making the cards I broke up the rest of the supplies and put them away.  It felt great!

Projects # 36, 37 and 38

Happy Friday Stampers,

Hard to believe that May is coming to an end.  Our summer semester is only three weeks away and classes are already open for enrollment.  June also means that we are almost at the half way point with our Stamp 2013 project.  I am pleased with my progress and I have enjoyed reading about your progress in the classroom.  But there is much work to be done still. :)

Project #36: Note Card
I am on a Club Scrap kick right now.  It has been fun to work with some of my older stamps.  Makes me remember how much I love them.

Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap and Inkadinkado), pattern paper, circle punches, die-cuts, ink and glitter embossing powder.

Project #37-Thank You

Supplies:  Stamps (Just Rite Stampers-Fancy Tags ), cardstock, pattern paper, die (Spellbinders), ink, clear embossing powder and Dew Drops.

Projects #38-Belated Birthday

Supplies:  Stamps (Club Scrap), dies (Spellbinders), ink, embossing powder, Gelatos, ribbon, cardstock, pattern paper and Dew Drops.

Double Opps....Plus Project #33

As I was writing my Friday post I kept thinking I am missing something.  It turns out I was missing TWO things. Thanks to those students who reminded me I forgot to add a link for you to post your work.  So I have added it here. :)  I also kept thinking that I was missing a card somewhere.  And sure enough, I had put this card up to dry.  Every time I use Stickles I seem to end up smudging the card is I do not put it in a safe place.  And you know what happens when you put something in a safe place. LOL!

Project #33-Happy Birthday
I have nieces and nephew birthdays coming up so it is time to make some kid cards.

Supplies: Stamps-Sentiment (Just Rite Stampers) and cupcake (Stampabilities), card stock, pattern paper, ink, circle punches, die (Spellbinders), button, Stickles, markers for coloring the cupcake (Tim Holtz), Dew Drops (Robin's Nest) and baker's twine.

Projects #29-32

Hey Stampers!

Well it is 10:55 pm my time.  So let's see if I can get this posted before the clock strikes midnight and it turns from Friday to Saturday.  I had a lot of fun with these stamp sets.  I managed to use all but one set...and I am good with that. :)

Project #29-Happy Birthday

Supplies: Stamps-Papertrey Ink (birthday sentiment), birthday candles (Stampabilities) and unknown (diamond background), cardstock, ink, embossing powder, brads, pattern paper, ribbon, metal rim tag and epoxy sticker.

Project #30-Thank You
This is probably one of my favorite cards of all time.  I love the colors and the feel of  the card.  I have been playing with Gelatos and used them on this card. They are really a cool product and I do recommend them.  As with many of the products and tools we use, practice makes perfect.

Supplies:  Stamps-Just Rite Stampers ( Harlequin Script Background and Fleur De Lis ), Spellbinders dies ( Labels #20), embossing powers, ink, Gelatos, cardstock and ribbon.

Project #31-Thinking of You 

I really like how this card turned out.  I was surprised to learn how much I enjoyed working with only two colors for the card....well three if you count the white. :) This flower set is fabulous to work with, I love how you can layer the stamps for a more dimensional look without adding extra bulk....cuz I add enough all on my own. :)

Supplies: Flower stamps (unknown, but I think it is Martha Stewart) and sentiment (Just Rite Stampers), card stock, pattern paper, Prima flower, ink, dies (sentiment tag-Spellbinders, tag-Cricut), brad and baker's twine.

Project #32-Just a Note
This card turn out just ok to me.  Sometimes things look better in my mind then in reality.  I hope I am not the only one who suffers from that affliction. :)

Supplies:  Stamps (birdcage-7 Gypsies, sentiment-Papertry Ink/Tiny Tags), card stock, chip board, dies (small tag-Papertrey Ink, large tag-Cricut, frame-Sizzix) ribbon, pattern paper, ink, snap, crackle paint, craft paint and embossing folder (Spellbinders).

Projects #23 and 24-Falling in Love Again

Happy Friday,

So I will be honest with you.  I have not had the best of weeks on a personal level.  I have had one of those weeks where each morning you wake up wanting to pull the covers over your head and curl up in a ball.  But some how you manage to get up and get the days work done.  And then Friday came and I knew I had two options.  I could find a way to get some stamping done or post that I would be taking the week off.

I opted to see if I could get some stamping done.  I won't say it was easy, forcing oneself to be creative is never fun.  But something happened along the way.  I started to forget about my worries and enjoy the creative process.  One simply cannot worry and be creative at the same time.  It was a wonderful break and it reminded me why I love being creative.

Project #23-Happy Birthday Card

Supplies: Stamps and Die-Papertrey Ink (Birthday Tags), pattern paper and banner-Little Yellow Bicycle, circle punch, Spellbinders die, Dew Drops and ink.

Project #24-Turning 8 Scrapbook Page  

I has been such a long time since I could scrapbook on a regular basis and I had forgotten how much I loved it.  I often opt for cards during my creative sessions as they take less time to create. But I definitely have fallen in love again with scrapbooking. :)  

When I use stamps on my scrapbook pages, I often use them as accent items.  Which is how I used them on these pages.  I soooooo wish I could show you more of the pages, but the are for an upcoming class.  

Supplies: Stamps-border stamp (Inkadinkado), small star stamp (Hero Arts), tag sentiment (Papertrey Ink-Tag-Its #10), birthday sentiment (Papertrey Ink-Birthday Tags), birthday word (Little Yellow Bicycle), pattern paper (Fancy Pants-Rough and Tough), ink, circle punch and tag punch.

Cards #10 and 11-Focus on Fabric

Happy Friday,

It is time to post our projects again. :)   I hope everyone has had a very productive week.  This week I focused on adding fabric to my cards.  In the first card I used a Sizzix die to cut fabric flowers.  On the second card I created a fabric brad using the i-Top Brad Maker.

Card #10-Happy Birthday

My first card is a white on white design.  I have noticed that this look has really gained in popularity and I love it.  It is such a clean and classic look. 

Supply List: Stamps (Just Rite Stampers), cardstock, label and flower die (Spellbinders and Sizzix), fabric, ribbon, trim, brad, embossing folder (QuickKutz) and Ink.

Card #11-Just Because

The second card features a base card cut using the Cricut.  It allows me to cut an opening on the front of the card.  I used purple ink to color the card and layered yellow cardstock behind the opening.  I used the Inkadinkado stamps on the Prima flowers.

Supply List: Stamps (Inkadinkado, Papertrey Ink), Cricut, metal corners, ribbon, brads, fabric, i-Top brad maker, flowers (Prima), ink, die cut (Papertrey Ink), embossing powder and pop dots.

Card #1-Mom's Birthday Card

Good Monday Morning Stampers.  Card #1 is a birthday card I made for my Mom.  Most of the cards I made this week have a specific purpose.  They were cards I needed to make.
