Hello!
I'm Shirley Pando, instructor at My Creative Classroom and part of the MCC
website support team. In fact, if you email the help desk
(support.mcc@gmail.com) I'm the person you'll hear from. :-)
In honor of the upcoming National Scrapbooking Day (May 4th), I’m here to let you know about a BRAND NEW class, “Cricut: Scrapbooking Through the Year” that I will be teaching with Cara Miller and Karen Hunter. Class begins Monday May 6th.
In this jam packed 4-week class we'll use our Cricut machine to create 12 scrapbook layouts...one for each month of the year. We include traditional holidays, birthdays and vacations. Along
with the monthly layouts we'll also highlight several background or
embellishment techniques each week that you’ll be able to add to your arsenal of
crafty tricks and use on your pages.
Check out a few sneak peeks!

I'd like to win this class because I have a Cricut but don't use it very much. I know there is a lot more to learn. My style is very classic, but I am trying to do more layering on my pages to give them more depth.
ReplyDeleteHave been using my 80+ Cricut cartridges for card making, and need the motivation to get started with traditional paper scrapbooking. This class sounds like just what I need!
ReplyDeleteThis class will help me get back into scrapbooking and also use my Cricut. I use it for cards but not finding time or inspiration otherwise. I tend to keep it simple when I do scrapbook so this class may help jazz it up.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I have a Cricut, but I don't really know how to use it. This class would definitely help me learn the skills to love my Cricut. My scrapbooking style is eclectic and haphazard. I just go with whatever feels right and looks fun.
ReplyDeleteI have never taken one of your Cricut classes even though I have a Cricut and use it almost every time I scrap. I would like to see what more you could teach me.
ReplyDeleteI have taken the cricut basic class and the craftroom class and I am so excited to learn more ways to use my cricut with my scrapbooking. I am scrapbooking for my 5 boys, well I have 3 done already,so I am excited to learn some new ways to do some boy pages but also just creative ways to use the cricut in new ways. I don't have a lot of cartridges, but I know I can use what I have more creatively and I want the inspiration to get crackin, and there's no one like Shirley and Cara to get the Mojo going. I am so looking forward to their new ideas and inspiration. Cathryn Paterson-Seguin
ReplyDeleteHow fun this class sounds. It would pull me back into using my cricut and for sure teach me some things.
ReplyDeleteI am still researching all the machines as I am going to buy one, but it is so confusing. A seat in this class would greatly benefit me. I am 60 so don't have time to waste purchasing a starter machine and then upgrading to a better one..... I want the better at the start.
ReplyDeleteMy dusty Cricut will thank me if I win this class! And my husband will stop moaning about how much of my stuff never gets used! Lol
ReplyDeleteShine on!

My scrapbooking style is hit and miss! My Cricut is fairly new and I have not used it for scrapbooking at all. Have to make do with Cartridges I have though as no budget for more!!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps this class could keep me on track getting my scrapbooking done!
ReplyDeleteI am really just developing my own style. I love using my cricut and I know I have a lot more to learn.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this class will help me start scrapping again. I haven't scrapped in a long while due to taking care of my wonderful mother, sadly though we lost her Feb. 14, 2012, Every since I have told myself that I need to get out my cricut and get started again. I have managed 3 layouts since January but mostly I am just dumbfounded. So maybe this would be a good jump start for me.
ReplyDeleteHi, my style is classic however I venture into other styles occasionally. I scrap almost everyday and when I don't I am either organizing my stash or out taking photos. I love my Cricut and own 12 cartridges. I would love to be inspired on creative ways to use my Cricut.
ReplyDeleteThanks
My style is very eclectic, I think it depends on the type of page or card I'm working on. I would LOVE to put my poor Cricut to better use and I know this class would help!
ReplyDeleteMy scrapbook style is here, there and everywhere. I'm definitely looking for ideas for using my cricut and getting the pictures off the computer and into some albums!
ReplyDeleteIjust got a hand me down Cricut and only have 2 cartridges. Would love to learn more about it and use it more. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy style is definitely all about layering and includes lots of embellishments. My favorite embellishments are ephemera from events, family members, etc. and lots of flowers. However, my pocketbook and spare time will not allow me to only do this kind of scrapbooking, so I would like to be able to use my cricut(s) (I have three!!!) to do a lot of the embellishments and titles. As a recently retired teacher, I haven't had time to do much with my cricut, so to win this class would be a wonderful thing for me.
ReplyDeleteI have a Cricut and I end up using it more for my kids school projects than anything else - maybe this would get me to start scrapbooking? Thanks for the chance to play : )
ReplyDeleteMy style is evolving as most artists do. When I see a new technique I give it a try and see if I like it. Lately using mists and stamping is frequently seen on my pages. Banners and pennants too. I would love to win a seat.
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to define my style. I am looking for something quick and easy but I also do not want it to be plain. I have my cricuit so I will want to personalize each page. The scrapebooking for a year would be a good way of making sure you add a new page each month to highlight your year. I would love to win a seat in this class
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this class since I stopped scrapbooking 5 years ago after my daughter was born. I have tons of pictures that need to be scrapbooked but I can never find the inspiration how to get one layout done. Since then, I always find myself lost and I don't want to do any scrapbooking.
ReplyDeleteMy style of scrapbooking is still a work in progress and seems to depend on the album I'm working on. I would love to receive the gift of the giveaway seat to learn more techniques and better use my Cricut Expression to truly celebrate the memories I am working with.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a lot of scrapbooking but have a lot of photos of my kids growing up that I would like to put in scrapbooks to give to them.
ReplyDeleteI bought my cricut 2 and literally turned it on to make sure it works! That's it! I have lots of cartridges and am dying to see what I can do with it!
ReplyDeleteMy style is Clean and simple. I am mainly a digi girl but like scrapping with my cricut.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great class. Simple and edgy...This would be a fun way too get me motivated...
ReplyDeleteI am so behind on my scrapbooking so this class would be great.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great class to win. Learning shortcuts and having ideas for when I get stuck is a great bonus.
ReplyDeleteThis is a Cricut class I should be taking if I don't get to win it!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know enough about scrapbooking to know what my style is yet - maybe this class will help me decide!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this class because I don't use my Cricut enough in layouts. I don't rally have a style. I usually just go with what the pics lead me.
