This week was very productive. I was once again reminded of something I learned this past year.....less is more. No, I don't mean ever card should be simple. I mean having few choices makes us more creative. Really, it is true. :) Research actually shows the fewer choices we have the more easy it is for us to make a decision. I find this to be very true when working with my Club Scrap kits. I am way more creative with limited choices. This is a topic we will be exploring even more in 2014.
Project # 74-Note Card
I used Club Scrap materials in all but the last card. The 1st three cards feature the stamps I received with the kit.
Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap/Take Wing and Papertrey Ink/Signature Greetings), card stock, ink and Twinkling H2Os
Project # 75-Note Card
I must confess this card is a 'lift'. With each Club Scrap kit we receive a newsletter with ideas and tips. This card is a copy of one featured in their newsletter. The sentiment is a bit crooked, but I did not have time to go back and make a 2nd card. :)
Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap/Take Wing), ink and card stock.
This is one of my favorite cards for this week.
Supplies: Stamps (Club Scrap/Take Wing and Papertrey Ink/Mega Mixed Messages) card stock, watercolor paper, Twinkling H2Os, die (Spellbinders), ribbon and rhinestones.
Project # 77-Note Card
I think this one is my favorite this week....but it was really heard to pick.
Supplies: Stamps (Unknown), card stock, pattern paper (7 Gypsies), white stain (Tim Holtz), trim, fibers, ink, stencil (Crafter's Workshop) and sentiment (Club Scrap)
Project # 78-Note Card
I really love this dress form stamp. Actually, I like all the stamps from this set. I wish I could have worked more with it. I may have to leave it on the list for next week.
Supplies: Stamps (Unknown/dress form and text), card stock, shipping tags, ink, pattern paper (Club Scrap), sentiment (Club Scrap) and rhinestones.
Project # 79-Note Card
Supplies: Stamps (Hot Off the Press/Doilies and Papertrey Ink/Fillable Frames #8), die-cut, card stock, circle punch, ink and embossing powder.
I hope you had a product week too.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jeri'
Gorgeous cards! Love the dress form one with the flowers. Have a great day.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card! love how the birds came out.
ReplyDeleteBoy! You were busy! Love all the cards but the card with the dress form is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it but I made a Halloween Magic card with not a single stamp on it this week. I did make a Halloween card using a background stamp that I bought but never really used.
Really love these cards Jeri! I have liked all of them... :) Wanted to let you know although I have not been as productive as lot of people, I have thoroughly enjoyed this blog this year!! I will have to say that it has encouraged me to get my 'stuff' in order and I have been working on that. I have purchased several storage units like you have for your stamps sets, plus others that work with those..for papers etc. So far it has worked out really well! Now I have to get all the sets organized, plus figure out what to do with all of my wood mounted sets! That in & of itself is VERY overwhelming! But, as I said, this blog has been informative and encouraging..look forward to what you have in store for us in 2014! Blessings, Jan
